French course details Beginners You have no knowledge of the French language or have forgotten school teaching of some years ago. This course offers a gentle approach in tuition. - Basic grammar
- Basic vocabulary
- Confidence in speaking French, for simple conversations.
Afternoon outings with visits offered. Intermediate You are familiar with some French grammar, reading and basic conversation. This course aims at developing your oral skills and gain confidence via "Role Play", "group discussions" including an approach to French culture. Some grammatical points will be on the agenda. Advanced A good command of language, grammar, reading and writing necessary. - Expansion of vocabulary applied in various situations i.e. "French Life" in general with multiple themes. Role play, discussions in the class.
- French society and French culture (reading and exploring magazines).
- Grammar at a deeper level (proposals from clients will be welcome).
Afternoon outings with visits offered. Advanced ++ A very good command of written and spoken French necessary. This course will develop your debating skills and encourage fluency with French expressions and colloquialism. - Analysis of a newspaper article (Le Monde, Figaro, Le Point, L'Express or Le Nouvel Observateur).
- Development of ideas in French society today.
- La Francophonie.
- Le cinema et le theatre en France.
This group will be invited to see a film at the local cinema. Afternoon visits will be offered.
