- Tusson. Protected village, with its medieval garden and museum.
- Embourie. Another medieval hamlet
- Courcôme with its attractive 12th Century Romanesque church.
- Ruffec, the nearest town, with a large market and shopping centre.
- Verteuil and its magnificent chateau

    - Rouillac: A whole day on 28th of each month

- Golf: Angouleme & Cognac have excellent courses
- Sailing on the lake and Water Park at St Yriex, near Angouleme (lessons given)
- Canoe - Kayak in Mansle and Ruffec on the Charente river
- Horse Riding in Villefagnan and Chef-Boutonne
- Theme Park - "La Valleé des Singes" on the N.10, a perfect visit to numerous species of monkeys in a natural park.
