Welcome to Le Logis Des Tours

A taste of historical France in the Charente, will welcome you as you enter our Graded II listed building with its stunning 15th Century porch, flanked by its towers and surrounding wall.

Follow the stone drive amongst shrubs and trees and you reach "Le Logis".

A perfect position in the centre of our village, and yet peace and quiet surrounds us in our 2.5 acres of ground.

It became our home in 1995 after 1.5 years of intensive modernisation, keeping all original features yet creating our dreams. Our new pool in the orchard has completed the perfect setting for a true relaxing holiday, whether on a short visit (as a passing guest), or on one of our residential courses, or simply on a self-catering holiday, you will truly experience "une vie à la Française".

This "spacious Logis" is light and relaxed.

All bedrooms, with their old oak floors, and family antique furniture, enjoy an en-suite bathroom with W.C. New beddings assure the visitor a good night's rest. Each bedroom has a view on front or back garden.

The Sitting Room, with its high ceiling and spacious size is the perfect setting for the main classroom. You will explore the extensive book and video library it contains. It has comfortable sittings with good natural lighting.

The Dining Room, where our French cuisine delights the palates, has the perfect touch for our dynamic mealtime conversations, discussions and laughter. There you will taste "l'entente cordiale" a glass of wine at hand.

The romantic setting of the garden, numbers many unusual mature trees, ancient roses, shrubs, flowers, pergolas, extensive lawns...

And for true relaxation, you'll stretch on a sun lounger near our pool, facing a lovely pigeonnier and an attractive barn, or simply rest on a bench under one of our trees.

Boules, bikes and table-tennis are also available... and should you wish to slip in the village, just walk out of the porch. You are there.
